ML 3 – Modular LoudSpeakers
Saturday, May 6, 2016 by Sophos, official distributor Blue Moon Audio Technology, there was the first meeting with music lovers for the presentation of the ML series speakers – Modular Loudspeakers.
Enthusiasts were able to touch the “revolutionary modularity” of these speakers.
Some enthusiasts, who took turns in the afternoon while listening to theML – Modular LoudSpeakers
From 3 basic modules, Teewter, Midrange-Alto, Midrange-Basso, more woofers in separate box, they make up 4 models that differ only in the number of modules used, but using all the same speakers of the big LS 3 (Line source 3).
ML 2 – Modular LoudSpeakers
The modules are supported and stacked on a common basis for all models, which houses the different crossover for each model.
The model are:
ML 1 – 3 ways – 1 module woofer + 1 module bass-midrange + 1 module tweeter
ML 2 – 4 ways – 1 module woofer + 1 module bass-midrange + 1 module high-midrange + 1 module tweeter
ML 3 – 4 ways – 1 module woofer + 2 module bass-midrange + 2 module high-midrange + 1 module tweeter
ML 4 – 4 ways – 2 module woofer + 2 module bass-midrange + 2 module high-midrange + 2 module tweeter

During the plays, it was possible to note clearly is the common sound is the acoustic differences of the 4 configurations.
These are characterized by a “family sound” constant, and easily recognizable, consisting of: great dynamics, emission transparency, natural timbre, well centered sound-stage, and proportionate to the reproduced group (the individual performer to the big orchestra).

From these common features, the evolution of modules has highlighted a timbre more and more accurate, a great sound in the issue thickness and a growing sense of realism that culminates with an actual physical presence of the performers on stage.
